Concurso para vídeo de "Some chords"

Parece que los creativos allegados a Deadmau5 no quieren laburar, o Joel quiere darles una oportunidad a sus fans, porque Deadmau5 esta haciendo un concurso para la creación del video de "Some Chords".

Para participar hay que entrar a la página de wooshii, registrarse y dar ideas para la creación del video. Una vez culminado el concurso, el 24 de mayo va a ser elegida la mejor propuesta por el club de fans de Deadmau5, y el ganador se va a llevar u$s 1200 (además de que su idea se plasme en el video, claro).

Beatport Music Awards 2010

Comenzó la votación para los Beatport Music Awards 2010, entrega de premios que se basa en los artistas que durante el período Marzo 2009-Marzo 2010, han participado en el famoso sitio de descargas.

Los premios se dividen en 2 grandes grupos, Track y Artista, y a su vez se separa en 17 subgrupos, cada uno por estilo.

Se podrá votar ingresando a Beatportal

La votación termina el 19 de Mayo, y los ganadores se anuncian para el 27 del mismo mes.

Gouden Harp para Armin Van Buuren

Una vez más el reconocido productor y Dj de los países bajos, Armin Van Buuren, fue condecorado con un premio. En esta ocasión, el premio fue el Gouden Harp, el máximo galardón que se le puede entregar a un artista en Alemania.

El premio fue entregado por Candy Dulfer,saxofonista y ganador del mismo premio en el año 2008. El mismo fue en el contexto de la Buma Harpen Gala, que se encarga de defender los intereses de los artistas en los países bajos.

Armin sigue cosechando más premios, luego de haber sido elegido como el mejor Dj por tercer año consecutivo (2007, 2008 y 2009) por la revista DjMag, una de las mas destacadas en cuanto a música electronica se refiere.
